PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a client, requesting a job wherein an error occurs, of a necessary error reset request at proper time by specifying the client if the error occurs to some device. SOLUTION: A controller 103 discriminates and manages a client which requests respective jobs processed by using devices such as a line device 108, a scanner device 110, a printer engine device 122, etc.; and the error occurrence state in the execution of the jobs is monitored, a client regarding a job wherein an error occurs is specified, and an error reset request is reported to the client requesting the error job on a network 101.
