<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate gas for a life vest and the like in rescue work in the water and the like to provide each of them with buoyancy by fitting water-soluble safety pins for maintaining a stopping position by inserting into safety pin insert holes provided on the periphery of the sliding portion and through holes provided in the plunger case. SOLUTION: A plunger easing 5 is provided by punching through holes 12 into which water-soluble safety pins 13, 13 are inserted. On the periphery of a sliding portion 9, safety pin insert holes 10, 10 are formed into which the water-soluble safety pins 13, 13 are fitted by insertion. A safety ring 11 is attached to by winding around the periphery of the sliding portion 9 to prevent the outflow of gas. A spiral groove 8 is provided spirally at the center of the sliding part 9 and an insertion hole into which a plunger 16 is inserted is formed adjacent thereto. The water-soluble safety pins 13 are fitted by insertion into the through holes 12 formed around the safety pin insert holes 10, 10 provided at the sliding portion 9 and the through hole provided on the periphery of the plunger casing 5.
