PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing equipment for tobacco filter decreasing the degree of cave-in generation on the section of a filter plug even in a case manufacturing the tobacco filter in a high speed plug winding up, capable of providing a more high quality tobacco filter. SOLUTION: This tobacco filter manufacturing equipment installs a filter material supplying part 1 supplying a filter material F having crimpability, an opening part 5 prolong the crimps and opening the filter material, an air-jet 9 bundling the filter material F into a predetermined diameter, a tube winding part 10 forming the bundled filter material F into a cylinder shaped rod and winding a winding paper P around the bundle, and a plating having surface roughness Rz<=2.5μm in conformity to JIS B-0601 is applied to a part of the contacting part of the tubing part 10 that contacts with the filter material F.
