PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a oscillation reduction device to be installed on a marine structure or on-land structure whereby oscillation of the structure can be reduced quickly. SOLUTION: An upper passive oscillation reducing machine 5A and a lower passive oscillation reducing machine 5B are installed one over another on an object structure. The lower machine 5B is configured so that the central part in longitudinal direction of a rail 6 equipped with a weight function is borne in see-saw form on the top of the frame 8 provided on the base 7 and a spring 10 and a damper 11 are interposed between the rail 6 and base 7. The upper machine 5A is equipped with a weight 13 which is placed on the rail 6 movably and is connected with a spring 14 and a damper 15.
