PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open show case capable of easily positioning a side plate fitted through a seal material and improving appearance. SOLUTION: This open show case is formed by a case body made of a heat insulating wall 2 having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and side plates 3 fitted to the case body side through seal materials. The case includes a fitting plate 31 fitted to both sides of the top wall 2B of the case body, and a side plate upper trim 44 trimming the upper edge of the side plate 3 and screwed on the fitting plate 31, having an engagement part 44D engaged with the fitting plate 31 on the side plate upper trim 44.
