PAGE DIRECTORY SHARING METHOD OF A MAIN ELECTRONIC COMPUTER

PURPOSE: A page directory sharing method is provided to prevent a lack appearance of a page table by enabling an address to be converted. CONSTITUTION: The page directory sharing method comprises the steps of: forming a page table in order to map a physical page frame of a shared memory when an attempt of the shared memory access is performed at a generation state of the shared memory; forming a shared memory directory; copying the formed shared page directory entry to a page directory entry(PDE) of a corresponding process; and performing an address conversion through a page table directed by the shared page directory entry.
