PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green tea leaf steamer having functions to soften green tea leaves. SOLUTION: This green tea steamer is composed by forming a kneading and rolling surface in a part of an inner peripheral surface of a rotating net drum of the green tea steamer so as to knead, roll and soften green tea leaves while exposing green tea leaves to steam at 110-120 deg.C or high-humidity hot air at 150-250 deg.C when passing the green tea leaves to be treated through the part.
