PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing capable of restraining torque such as starting torque, dynamic friction torque, etc., and capable of restraining a sudden rise of cost. SOLUTION: A deep groove ball bearing 1 as a ball bearing is furnished with an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3 and a ball 4. The inner ring 2 if formed in an annulus ring shape and devised so that an axis of rotation 5 is fixed on an inner peripheral surface. The outer ring 3 is formed in an annulus ring shape having a larger inside diameter than an outside diameter of the inner ring 2. The ball 4 makes contact with an outer peripheral surface of the inner ring 2 and an inner peripheral surface of the outer ring 3 and is provided between the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3 free to roll. A cross-section circular arc groove 8 is formed along the peripheral direction on the outer peripheral surface 6 of the inner ring 2. A cross-section circular arc groove 9 is formed along the peripheral direction on the inner peripheral surface 7 of the outer ring 3. The groove 9 is formed in a range where its curvature radius exceeds 53% of a diameter da of the ball 4 and is less than 65% of it.
