PURPOSE: A triode electron gun for controlling an output and a method for manufacturing the same is provided to control a shape of an electron beam by using a modulating electrode. CONSTITUTION: A triode electron gun for controlling an output comprises: a modulating electrode(1) for controlling a shape of an electron beam between a cathode(5) and a anode(10); and an electron beam modulating electrode power supply(15) for supplying a owner to control a shape of an electron beam between a cathode(5) and an anode(10). A method for manufacturing a triode electron gun for controlling an output comprises the steps of: maintaining a voltage of the modulating electrode larger than the cathode; supplying a similar voltage to the modulating electrode and the cathode; radiating an electron beam during a predetermined period; maintaining a magnetic field between the modulating electrode and the anode larger than the magnetic field between the modulating electrode and the cathode; maintaining the magnetic field between the modulating electrode and the anode less than the magnetic field between the modulating electrode and the cathode.
