摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide zeolite having a catalyst surface which is nanoporous and has characteristics of zeolite; a method for producing the same; and a zeolite catalyst obtained by using the zeolite. <P>SOLUTION: The zeolite is combined zeolite which has nanopores at least in its surface and is obtained by mixing dealuminated zeolite, prepared by subjecting synthetic zeolite to dealumination treatment, and a metal oxide precursor forming nanopores by firing in the presence of water and then firing the resulting mixture. In more detail, at least a part of the surface of the combined zeolite is covered with a metal oxide having nanopores.
