PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a reader to quickly read a part (main body part) other than a stylized character string (for example, the season's greetings) in a document by enabling the main body part to be easily discriminated, and to allow the reader to quickly read the main body part by fewer operations when the document is displayed on a narrow display. SOLUTION: A stylized character string is registered as a retrieval character string, and whether or not any part matched with the retrieval character string is present in an inputted document is judged (S804), and when any matched part is present, the part is replaced with a replaced character string (for example, a specific mark), and the document is displayed (S808). Thus, the main body part can easily be discriminated, and the main body part can be easily read by the reader. Also, even when the document is displayed on a narrow display, the main body part can quickly be read by the reader by fewer operations. Moreover, one part of the stylized character string can be registered as the retrieval character string, and a sentence including the retrieval character string can be replaced with the replaced character string, and the document can be displayed. |
