FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: according to invention, proposed internal combustion engine contains shaft with fitted-on miltilobe cam, pusher whose plates enclose cam, being connected to each other, and elastic shaft-roller secured between pusher plates, mating with interference with multilobe cam and rolling over its surface. Plates of pusher are held and slide along guides secured on crankcase covers. Plates of pusher are connected with shaped plate, and elastic member, for instance, conical spring is installed between plate and piston crown. Spring is tightened by stud and is secured at end free travel between plates of pusher. Internal combustion engine has regulating device coupled with small piston driven through cover of compression chamber for changing volume of chamber. Nozzle installed in cover of compression chamber is connected with high-pressure pump as well as knocking initiating device made, for instance, in form of magnetostrictive converter whose coil is connected with breaker-distributor. Internal combustion engine is provided with control unit coupled with piston TDC position pickup and with knocking pickup. ^ EFFECT: increased range of shaft speed changes at no jerks of piston and pusher, provision of stable knocking at required moment of time, prevention of shaft unbalance and overheating of metal of compression chamber members. ^ 8 cl, 3 dwg |
