PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment which surely performs F code transmission as well as facilitates F code input easier. SOLUTION: An F code, such as a sub-address or a password made to correspond to a name of a called party, is registered in a table provided to the storage part of facsimile equipment. The name of the called party of confidential communication is registered in an (a) column of this table. Sub-address is registered in a (b) column by allotting it to A1, A2, etc. A password SID is registered in a (c) column by allotting it to B1, B2, etc. A (d) column allowed provided with personal identification numbers C1, C2, etc., when the password SID is inputted to the (c) column. The F code is retrieved from this table by the name, and confidential communication is executed.
