PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance of a wind screen and a shield panel with the small number of parts, to firmly fix them to a front panel, to improve assemblage of the periphery of the wind screen, and to reduce manufacturing costs of a front cowling. SOLUTION: In the front cowling of a motorcycle, screen attaching members 17, 20L and 20R are fixed to the back surface side of a screen attaching edge 21 of a front panel 3 so that the fixed parts (welded pieces 22, 23) may not be seen, and a wind screen 5 is fixed to the front panel 3 by inserting an inserting flange 36 of a wind screen 5 into inserting slits 33, 34 formed between the steps 32, 32 and the screen attaching edge 21. Moreover, a shield panel 17 is commonly used as the screen attaching member.
