PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive installation method for a decorative panel and the decorative panel used for this method, which is a hard decorative panel made of lumber, stone, tile or the like, has an instantaneous adhesive layer on the rear surface, permits positioning, adjustment, and movement of the decorative panel without coating any liquid agent on an adhesive target surface of a backing material, and permits the fixing and laying of the decorative panel. SOLUTION: An instantaneous adhesive layer 3 is provided on the rear surface of a decorative panel 1 and, on the surface of this adhesive layer 3, band- shaped, string-shaped, grain-shaped or continuous patterned circular, square, granular and other projected portions 4a, 4b, 4c are provided as spacers to the target surface during adhesion to the backing and then the positioning adjustment and movement are performed for the decorative panel. Thereafter, the decorative panel is pressed, adhesive power of the adhesive layer 3 becomes effective thereby fixing the panel to the adhesive target surface on the backing.
