PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make erase traces and yellowing traces generated on a recording layer not conspicuous in a reversible heat-sensitive recording medium having a recording layer containing a leuco compound on a sheet-shaped base for recording an image to be colored when heated to the coloring temperature and erasing the image to be discolored when heated to the discoloring temperature. SOLUTION: A reversible heat-sensitive recording medium S is constituted of a recording layer 11 formed of a leuco compound and a color developing and discoloring agent for color developing and discoloring by the thermal reaction with the leuco compound and a binder as main components and a protective layer 12 composed of thermosetting resin and the like overlapped together into the same color as the colors of erase traces and yellowing traces generated on the recording layer 11, for instance, the dark brown color to make the erase traces and yellowing traces generated in the dark brown color not conspicuous. |
