PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce paper loss by switching the mode indicative of the quantity of ink in the axial direction between a first mode for indicating the full close state of an ink key at a zero point and a second mode for indicating the opening of the ink key at the time of starting to receive ink from a main roller at the zero point thereby eliminating ink leakage. SOLUTION: Since the gap D at the time of beginning to transfer ink to a delivery roller 7 is set at a zero point of an indicator 19A when operation is started after selecting a second indication mode, an operator can comprehend the situation easily and the operation is facilitated. Furthermore, erroneous operation is eliminated and thereby paper loss can be reduced. Since all ink keys 11 of a unit operating with full close signal generated by operation of a full close button or a speed and time arriving signal presser according to print conditions are brought into full close state when automatic mode operation is interrupted temporarily due to rest or an accident, ink leakage does not occur even after expiration of rest time. |
