PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which the stopping angle positions of driving force transmission means can be held the same during transfer. SOLUTION: An image forming device has a photoconductor belt 1 in the form of a closed loop belt on which a toner image is formed, a drive roller 2a circulating the photoconductor belt 1 extended between other rollers, a transfer counter roller placed on an inner peripheral position of the photoconductor belt 1 and transferring the toner image formed on the photoconductor belt 1 onto a storage medium by moving while pressing against the storage medium the photoconductor belt 1 which has stopped circulating, a motor 14 for a photoconductor, for driving the drive roller 2a, and driving force transmission means 21, 22, 26 for transmitting the driving force of the motor 14 for the photoconductor to the drive roller 2a. Thus in the image forming device, the reduction gear ratio of the drive roller 2a to the motor 14 for the photoconductor is an integer.
