PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve counting accuracy at a low cost by arranging a pressure sensor in an area closest to a commodity take-out port our of three areas divided in a commodity carrying direction on the commodity passage side face of a segment. SOLUTION: A pressure sensor 3 is arranged in an area (c) closest to a commodity take-out port out of three areas divided in the commodity carrying direction on the commodity passage side face of a specific segment constituting a commodity rack 2 and having the highest probability of commodity collision. On the position(c), the face of the sensor 3 is almost rectangular to the carrying direction of a commodity 4 and the commodity 4 rolled from the position of the opposed segment 1 easily collides with the sensor 3. Since the position (c) is on a track on which the commodity 4 is to be rolled after its collision with the segment 1, the commodity collides with the sensor 3 at the time of rolling down even if the commodity 4 does not collide with the sensor 3 at the initial collision with the segment 1. Consequently the detection accuracy of the sensor 3 can be sharply improved.
