PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter base capable of removing static electricity inside a ball box at the time of mounting the ball box provided with a discharge part on the lower part though constituted of a non-conductive member. SOLUTION: This counter base 3 is constituted of the non-conductive member, a conductive member 21 is fixed at a position at a part of the upper surface corresponding to the discharge part 31 of the ball box 30 at the time of mounting the ball box 30 and the conductive member 21 is connected to a ground wire 22. Thus, since the static electricity inside the ball box 30 is discharged to the ground wire at the time of mounting the ball box 30 on the counter base 3, a player does not receive an unpleasant feeling due to the static electricity inside the ball box 30.
