PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting metal fitting for a chain sling connectable to the connecting metal fitting connecting a chain surely and easily to an arbitrary hoisting metal fitting even by lessening a link constituting the chain. SOLUTION: This connecting metal fitting for a chain sling comprises an H-shaped metal fitting 1 having an insertion arm 7 and a grooved arm 8 in an upper part and a U-shaped metal fitting 2. The connecting metal fitting for the chain sling is constituted such that the insertion arm 7 and the grooved arm 8 of the U-shaped metal fitting 2 are mutually fitted and integrally lock mounted with the U-shaped metal fitting 2 by a load pin 4 in the upper part of the H-shaped metal fitting 1 and a chain fitting groove 10 for fitting a ring end part constituting a chain is provided in the center to bearing mount a link 9 by a chain lock pin 3 in a lower part of the H-shaped metal fitting 1.
