<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable equal and efficient output scheduling by simple constitution by reducing a flow queue by combining many packet flows and selecting output packets by using scheduling algorithm for the flow queue. SOLUTION: When a packet arrives, a packet store 3 outputs a token for identifying the packet individually and stores it in the flow queue. When flow selection 21 selects the queue, a flow queue controller 1 supplies a token to a token controller 4 to output a corresponding packet from a packet store 3. A flow map 5 maps the packets to the flow queue by a packet identification information PID demultiplexer to obtain the queue of scheduler flows without limiting the number of PIDs which can be scheduled and also reduces the delay bound of each input packet flow to efficiently multiplex multiplex packets of a constant group rate.</p> |
