PURPOSE: A window type air conditioner is provided which easily blocks an opening of a ventilating fan housed within a partition structure and continuously keep the blocking stage. CONSTITUTION: A window type conditioner comprises:a casing(3); a ventilating fan(17) placed in the casing; a double partition(31) so arranged parallel to each other as to divide an inner space of the casting; a ventilating fan casing for supporting the ventilating fan. A blocking member is formed to block an opening of both partitions and is so formed as to be rotatable out of the one extended part of the two partitions and the blocking member is integrally formed, being connected to the partitions by the membrane hinge.
