PURPOSE: A cooling device for a computer is provided to prevent an operating speed of a central process unit from decreasing caused by an overheated state of a system. CONSTITUTION: A cooling device for a computer comprises:a central process unit(21); a signal generating unit(10) generating and outputting a System Management(SM) signal for giving an operating right of a system; a state treating unit(20) generating and outputting an alarming signal in case of a temperature of central process unit detected by a temperature measuring sensor(22) higher than a set value; and a microcomputer(30) generating and outputting a state controlling signal.
