PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying device which improves job efficiency in the removal of a jam by a user, by increasing the visibility of a display to the user. SOLUTION: The copying device, which has an LCD display (display) 61 for displaying the condition of the device and setting conditions and so on inputted by a user and displays various information onto the LCD display 61, thereby informs the user of it, is provided with a driving device that makes the display screen of the LCD display 61 movable at least either a horizontal direction or vertical direction. When the predetermined conditions are met, the angle of the display screen of the LCD display 61 can be altered by the drive of the driving device. The adjustment of the angle of the display screen of the LCD display 61 can be made optimum according to the position and posture of the user, and the visibility of the LCD display 61 to the user is increased to improve job efficiency in the removal of a jam by the user. |
