PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a time, at which the execution of a freeze prevention mode is rendered ineffective, to a proper value by a method wherein, in the execution of a freezing prevention mode, during first starting, the execution is rendered ineffective only during first starting, and during starting after the first execution, the execution is rendered ineffective only during a second set time shorter than the first set time. SOLUTION: The output of a temperature sensor 7 to detect the piping temperature of a heat exchanger on the indoor side is guided to a freeze decision part 21 to decide whether a freeze prevention mode is executed and an operation control part 22 to control a refrigerating cycle, and the output of the freeze decision part 21 is guided to an operation control part 22. Further, the output of a set time memory part 24 to store a time at which the execution of the freeze prevention mode is rendered ineffective is guided to operation control part 22. Thus, by changing a time, at which the execution of the freeze prevention mode is rendered ineffective, according to the change of the piping temperature of the heat-exchanger on the indoor side, a proper ineffective time is set and lowering of capacity and freezing of a piping clue to malfunction of the freeze prevention mode are prevented from occurring. |
