PURPOSE: A mounting device is provided to easily attach at least one contact spring connector(4) to a profield retaining strip(31) of a casing piece in a sub-rack support. CONSTITUTION: The mounting device includes a support body(2) with a groove(22) and a compressing means(1). The groove(22) is formed to be clamped after the contact spring connector(4) is inserted, it(4) generally has a plurality of spring legs(41). The compressing means(1) puts a profield retaining strip(31) of a casing piece(3) into the contact spring connector(4) inserted in the groove(22) in order to be firmly joined, in particular snap locked, between the profield retaining strip(31) and the contact spring connector(4).
