AREA MONITORING SYSTEM OF DIGITAL IMAGE

PURPOSE: An area monitoring system of digital image is provided to perform reliable image monitoring. CONSTITUTION: The area monitoring system of digital image comprises: an A/D converter(10) NTSC mode analog image recorded by a camera into digital; a still image compressor(20) compressing and storing the digital converted image data into JPEG; the first RAM(30) storing the JPEG digital image data in sector unit; the second RAM(40) storing the previous image data and the present image data converted into digital without being compressed by the A/D converter; a program memory(50) comprising a control program for the system and an event detecting algorithm; and a DSP(60) unit transmitting the image data compressed by the still image compressor to a communication control unit through a SERVER and detecting whether the event in a target is generated by comparing the previous image data and the present image data stored in the second RAM.
