PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel enlarging catheter structure which is rendered by the unique structure and bonding of a single tubular element. SOLUTION: This enlarging catheter structure has an expansion type balloon and a vascular cavity for a guide thread. The catheter has a front end tube 12 and a guide tube 13 with respect to the enlarging catheter structure of a rapid exchange type. The guide tube 13 extends into the front end tube 12 and the base ends 13' and 12' of the guide tube 13 and the front end tube are interconnected on the front end 11' of a main tube 11. The base end of the guide tube 13 has an opening on one side of the main tube 11 and the base ends 12, 13' of the front end tube arrive densely and simultaneously at the front end of the main tube 11 and the base end of the guide tube 13. |
