PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-purpose hopper for a construction work in which some large-sized construction material such as rubbles, crushed stones, gravels and surplus earth or the like frequently used in a foundation work and the like can be easily distributed at once in a manual operation over a location where a large amount of material is desired. SOLUTION: This hopper drops some construction materials such as rubbles, crushed stones, gravels, surplus earth, sand and ready-mixed concrete fed from an upper section of an opening of a storing member 2 onto a desired location by opening opening or closing lids 4, 5 formed at the bottom section of the storing member 2. In this case, a pair of opposing slant plates inclined from the storing member toward a downward central direction are movably arranged in a slant downward direction to form inverse gable roof-shaped opening or closing lids 4, 5, thereby the opening or closing lids are cooperatively operated to each other so as to open or close the feeding port 6 at the lower part of the storing member.
