PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of preventing interference by external waves in a superheterodyne receiver and to provide a storage medium in which a program is stored. SOLUTION: Carrier wave signals received by an antenna 1 and a multicoupler 2 are applied through an RF amplifier 3 and a reception filter 4 to a mixer 5. In the meantime, local signals 8 are passed through an attenuator 7 or an amplifier 9, switched in a switch 10, applied to the mixer 5, mixed with the carrier wave signals and turned to IF signals. The IF signals are demodulated in a poststage and the error rate in the demodulated output is detected. By switching the switch 10 corresponding to the error rate, the input level of the local signals to the mixer 5 is controlled. Thus, intermodulation distortion and spurious interference, etc., by external interference waves are eliminated.
