PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to inform a callee that there is a calling even at a place where a radio wave state is bad by a base station's storing a caller's message and transmitting a corresponding document number to a radio paging receiver, then the callee's connecting itself to the base station by way of a general public line and transmitting the document number, and the base station's transmitting the message corresponding to the document number to the callee. SOLUTION: A callee who confirms the call-in calls a base station to connect itself to an incoming call control part 101 and specifies confirmation of a message. The incoming call control part 101 an instructs the callee using a voice or the like to input the document number. The callee refers to a document number or the like stored in a storage part via a screen of an information part of the radio paging receiver and inputs it to a message retrieval control part 102. The message retrieval control part 102 retrieves the inputted document number, reads out message data stored in a storage device 103 when there is a coincident document number, and informs the callee of it by way of the incoming call control part 101.
