FIELD: rheumatology. SUBSTANCE: individually selected infrared pulse laser radiation is used for simultaneous contact irradiation of all joints involved in inflammatory process, as well as of periarthric structures. Powder density for every painful point makes up 0.056 mW/sq.cm at frequency of 80 Hz or 0.87 mW/sq.cm at frequency of 1200 Hz. Total power per seance varies from 0.5 to 6.0 J. Grinding-off exposure time is 1-4 min. Method makes it possible to extend duration of remission, to avoid frequency of introduction of corticosteroids into joint or periarthric structures due to correct selection of radiation parameters, irradiation methods used and energetic dose as a whole.
