<p>A method for providing targeted commercial advertisements, messages, coupons or other types of information on letters, parcels and other written communications to a recipient of the letter, parcel or other type of communications. The method includes the determination and application of the correct postage for a letter or parcel. The method further includes monitoring the delivery network to gather statistics regarding the actions performed by the recipients of the letters, parcels or communications and to apply the target advertisements, messages, coupons or other types of informations to letters or parcels at any phase of the delivery network. The gathered statistics are processed to generate user data which is then used to apply the targeted commercial advertisements, messages, coupons or other types of information which are directed to the particular recipient of each of the letters or parcels.</p> |
