PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving apparatus which achieves higher linear movability even on a slope. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with at least two rotary parts 13r and 13l which are rotated by a force applied by an operator, power supplementing means to supplement a part of the force of the operator, a battery 40 to electrically energize the power supplementing means 30r and 30l, a first inclination detecting means 80 to detect inclination in the direction of movement, a second inclination detecting means 90 to detect inclination in the direction orthogonal to that of movement and control means 100 to separately control the power supplementing means 30r and 30l based on information on inclination obtained from the first and second inclination detecting means 80 and 90.
