PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and simply collect scrap by storing a shaft having a magnet at the tip to be freely moved forward and backward in an outer cylinder, moving the magnet forward to collect scrap and chips with magnetic force, and moving the magnet backward to drop the scrap and chips. SOLUTION: A stopper ring 2 is fixed to an outer cylinder 1, a magnet 3 is fixed to the tip of a shaft 4, and the shaft 4 is put in a spring 5. A stopper pin 8 is passed through a spring 9 of an inner cylinder 7. Subsequently, the inner cylinder 7 is put in the shaft 4 to locate the spring 5 between the magnet 3 and the inner cylinder 7, a cover 10 is put on the shaft 4, and further, a cap 11 is fixed. The thus assembled material is put in the outer cylinder 1. In use, the cap 11 is pushed in, and in such a state, scrap and chip are made adhere to the tip of the outer cylinder 1. The adhering scrap and chip are moved backward with the magnet 3 by pushing in the head of the stopper pin 8, and at this time, it is released from the magnetic force of the magnet 3 by the stopper ring 2 to be separated from the outer cylinder 1.
