PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for vulcanization comprising a novolac-type epoxy resin, a novolac-type phenolic resin and a curing promotor, which can be effectively used for bonding by vulcanization between a metal and an acrylic rubber or nitrile rubber. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for vulcanization comprises 100 parts by weight of a novolac-type phenolic resin, 15 to 80 parts by weight of a novolac-type epoxy resin, and 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of a curing promotor, wherein an imidazole compound or a third amine compound can be used as the curing promotor.
