ORGANIC WASTE TREATMENT METHOD

PURPOSE: A process for treating organic waste by mixing waste with an aerobic microorganism and hydrogen peroxide is provided which inhibits the generation of foam and odor. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the 1st step for mixing waste with an aerobic microorganism and water, the 2nd step for agitating the mixture at a speed of 100 rpm by supplying air at a speed of 0.1L/min based on the total volume of the mixture, and the 3rd step for supplying 3-30 weight% of hydrogen peroxide at a speed of 2-21 cc/hr based on the total volume of the mixture. For an example, 900g food waste and 20g aerobic microorganism are put into a reactor and water is poured in the reactor, The mixture is agitated at a speed of 120 rpm by supplying air at a speed of 0.5L/min. After 1 day, 14 weight% of hydrogen peroxide is supplied into the reactor at a speed of 4.4 cc/hr. The test result shows that the method inhibits the generation of foam and offensive odor during the treatment of organic matters.
