<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor together with its manufacturing method, wherein a resistor layer is prevented from disconnected or damaged, by discharge in breakdown voltage process and during operation, and also to provide an electron gun which comprises the resistor for improved breakdown voltage characteristics. SOLUTION: An insulating substrate 21 which is, comprising a facing pair of surfaces, provided with a through hole 25 penetrating through the facing pair of surfaces, electric circuit parts 22 and 23 formed on one surface of the insulating substrate 21, a terminal 31 which comprises an insert part 31a which is, its length being shorter than the thickness of the insulating substrate, inserted into the through hole 25 from one surface of the insulating substrate 21 and a connection part 31b electrically connected to the electric circuit parts 22 and 23, while a part inserted into the through hole 25 is tightly fitted with tightly-fitting materials 32 and 33 positioned at the through hole 25, and an insulating coat layer 24 formed on the insulating substrate by coating the electric circuit parts 22 and 23 and the terminal, are provided.</p> |
