PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the position monitor system for a mobile terminal where number of times of communication for position monitoring is reduced so as to decrease a communication cost and to offer excellent operating convenience. SOLUTION: A monitor reception section 101 receives application of monitor from a mobile terminal, stores identification codes of a monitoring terminal and a monitored terminal and respective notice contents to a monitor database 102 and sets a flag denoting a monitor object to the database managing terminal position information. In the case of registering a position from a terminal, a position registration management section 103 confirms a monitor object flag based on a position registration database 104, and in the case that the flag denotes the monitor object, a position registration comparison section 105 obtains an identification code of the terminal being the monitor object from the monitor database 102, obtains position registration information of the terminal from the position registration database 104 and compares them. When the comparison indicates nonmatching, a notice section 106 transmits notice contents denoting the mismatch to the monitoring terminal and the monitored terminal respectively to inform them about the contents.
