PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panoramic image block capable of easily performing desired image processing by performing such control that light which is not normally refracted is shielded to the light. SOLUTION: This panoramic image block is a rotating body consisting of a transparent crude material equipped with an upper light shielding surface 1 in the center of an upper surface, an upper light transmissive surface 2 at the periphery part of the upper surface, a lower light shielding surface 3 at the periphery part of a lower surface and a lower light transmissive surface 4 in the center part of the lower surface. In the block where, the surface 3 is made to a reflection mirror by which incident light from the surface 2 is made to pass through the rotating body to be collectable to the surface 1 and the surface 1 is made to the reflection mirror by which the reflected light from the surface 3 is made to pass through the rotating body to be collectable to the surface 4, the block is equipped with an optical control plate 6 covering the upper part of the surface 2 and having a lower surface 5 coincident with the upper edge of the viewing angle of the block.
