<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a positioning failure by improving a plate positioning success probability. SOLUTION: A plate processing means 1 has an end locator 14 for positioning a plate in X direction, and two or more work holders 12A, 12B installed side by side in X direction for positioning in Y direction, which is orthogonal to X direction. A plate material holding and moving means 31 is arranged on a travelling means 17 which travels in X direction by holding the plate W with plural adsorbing pads. The plate holding and moving means 31 has positioning pads 30A, 30B and positioning cylinders 32, 33, and transfers the plate W towards the end locator and the work holder along a reference line A which being in a slanting direction. As a result that the plate W is moved along the reference line A, if the plate W is not made in abutted condition to all of the end locator and the work holder, the plate W is moved by the plate holding and moving means 31 along a line different from the reference line A.</p> |
