PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a wettable powder compound whose particle sizes do not increase during storage, and which has improved stability and is useful for agrochemicals by impregnating a carrier with a compound which is not yet at the final level of crystallization. SOLUTION: During the preparation of a wettable powder, a carrier (B) is impregnated with a compound (A) (preferably, oxyfluorfen, dicofol, or the like) which is not yet at the final level of crystallization to form a wettable reagent, the wettable reagent is kept until the component A reaches at the final level of crystallization, and then the wettable reagent is pulverized. Further, when the component A contains two or more kinds of compounds and one or more kinds of compounds of the mixture have not reached the final level of crystallization, an additional pulverizing process is preferably involved before or after the impregnation of the component B with the component A.
