PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational mechanism of a seat for vehicle simple in structure, low in cost, high in accuracy, capable of smoothly rotating the seat, and ensuring the necessary strength. SOLUTION: In a rotational mechanism of a seat for vehicle rotatable around the axis extending in the vertical direction of the seat for vehicle, a rotary base 7 fixed to a seat surface 3 and a fixed base 8 to a vehicle floor are rotatably supported through the engagement of vertically extending cylindrical walls 12, 15 with each other. The movement in the perpendicular direction to the axis of rotation is regulated by the engagement of the cylindrical walls 12, 15 with each other.
