PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reinforced paper containing carbon powder, hardly causing decrease of functions of the carbon powder such as moisture absorption and deodorant properties, and further having sufficient strength by adding the porous carbon powder to a paper base material, and further carrying out the papermaking of the obtained paper base material with a reinforcing fabric so that the fabric may be present in the inside so as not to be exposed over the almost all surface. SOLUTION: This reinforced paper containing carbon powder is obtained by carrying out the papermaking of a paper stock with a single piece of woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, knit fabric or the like, composed of cotton, a cellulosic regenerated fiber, or the like which has good compatibility with a paper base material, so as to be covered with the paper base material and not to be exposed when carrying out the papermaking of the paper stock obtained by adding 5-50 wt.% porous carbon powder such as charcoal powder thereto, and further allowing the reinforced paper containing the carbon powder to carry one or more chemicals selected from an antimicrobial agent, an insecticide and a pest repellent.
