PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out the final control element of a camera soon, even at a dark photographing place. SOLUTION: The top surface of a shutter button 17 is exposed outside a camera main body. When the shutter button 17 is depressed; a switching armature 23 held by a supporting plate 22 comes into contact with the metallic armature 24a of a control base board 24, to start up a shutter mechanism. The shutter button 17 is made of transparent rubber and houses the light emitting part, 21b of a light emitting diode 21 inside. Even at the dark place, the power source of the camera is applied to make the light emitting diode 21 emit light and the shutter button 17 transmits the light, to display the shutter button 17 outside.
