FLOOR STRUCTURE FOR LOW-FLOOR BUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further lower the ground height of the floor surface of a low-floor bus and to make daily inspection and maintenance convenient by providing a hole section on a second floor at the position above the expansion section of a rear shaft, and fitting a cover made of a thin metal to the hole section. SOLUTION: The floor surface of a non-step type bus is constituted of a first floor 1 provided with front tire houses 2 and located in the front of rear tire houses 3 and a second floor 4 pinched by the rear tire houses 3 and fitted at an inclination angle toward the front, and the floor 5 of rear seats is provided behind the second floor 4. A hole section is provided on the second floor 4 formed with a veneer board and a decorative sheet at the position corresponding to the maximum bound of the expansion section of a rear shaft. A cover made of a steel plate is fixed to the hole section with four screws 11. The inclination of the second floor 4 is increased, the differential height (h) between the first floor 1 and the second floor 4 can be decreased, and a low-floor bus can be obtained.
