PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent radiation of spurious radio wave automatically in the case that the electronic device radiating a radio wave is resident in the vicinity of a system that is susceptible to radio wave interference. SOLUTION: When a radio wave radiation suppression information reception section 2 of the radio wave radiation suppression electronic device 1a receives radio wave radiation suppression information to inform of suppression of radio wave radiation, a radio wave radiation suppression section 3 sets the radio wave radiation suppression electronic device 1a to the spurious radio radiation suppression mode where radiation of an undesired radio wave is suppressed and radiation of a radio wave from the electronic device is stopped without cutting off the power supply to the electronic device. When the radio wave radiation suppression information reception section 2 receives the radio wave radiation suppression information again after a prescribed period, the undesired radio wave radiation suppression mode is continued. When the radio wave radiation suppression information reception section 2 receives no radio wave radiation suppression information, the section 2 selects a usual state. |
