PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture collector capable of being easily handled, being suitable for measurement at large number of points and capable of easily performing sampling operation and operation thereafter by adding water of a specific rate to calcium chloride housed in a vessel forming an opening in the upper part. SOLUTION: In a collector 1, calcium chloride 3 is housed in a vessel main body 2, and an upper opening is blocked up by a filter 4 composed of water repellent finish-applied filter paper. Water of 20 to 60 pts.wt. is added to 100 pts.wt. to the calcium chloride in the vessel 2. A cover body 5 is removed to be arranged for about two weeks, a temperature and humidity are recorded by a temperature/humidity continuous recorder, and weight measuring data is read by a personal computer. Next, volume regulated water is added to the collector 1, remaining calcium chloride is dissolved, the tritium concentration of a calcium chloride solution in the collector 1 is measured by a liquid scintillation counter, and data is inputted to the personal computer to automatically calculate the tritium concentration in the air at a measuring point.
