The digital light signal device (1) has a housing (102,103). An electric control circuit (2) is arranged in the digital light signal device (1). A light signal display part (11) is connected to the electric control circuit (2). The light signal display part (11) is provided on one side of the digital light signal device (1). A digital display part (12) is connected to the electric control circuit (2). Preferably the housing (102) has a back part and a front part connected to each other. The light signal device may have a photovoltaic solar collector element (13) on the upper side of the digital light signal device (1). An electric circuit (3) for the photovoltaic collector element (13) may be arranged in the digital device.
